- After application, wipe/cure the treated surface with a damp, clean, lint-free cloth.
- Allow the product to fully cure before exposing the vehicle to rain, snow, car washes, or other moisture.
For optimal results, allow 72 hours of curing time before exposing the treated surface to water or harsh weather.
TS-1 works especially well on black, gray, charcoal, and other dark exterior plastic trim affected by oxidation and UV exposure.
If TS-1 accidentally gets onto a painted surface, remove it promptly. A 50/50 mixture of isopropyl alcohol and water or mineral spirits may be used carefully to remove excess product from painted surfaces. Always test cleaning products in an inconspicuous area first.
Armor-Dillo TS-1 is designed for exterior plastic trim and is not intended for interior vehicle surfaces.
How can I make Armor-Dillo TS-1 cure faster?
Water helps activate the curing process.
After applying TS-1 evenly to the exterior plastic trim, use a new, clean cloth dampened with water and wipe over the entire treated area. This helps accelerate the curing process and brings the surface to a clean, dry-to-the-touch finish more quickly.
For best results:
- Apply TS-1 evenly to clean, dry exterior plastic trim.
- Use a separate clean, wet or damp cloth to wipe over the treated surface after application.
- Make sure the entire treated area comes into contact with water during this curing step.
- Allow the surface to finish curing before exposing it to heavy rain, car washes, pressure washing, or harsh cleaners.
Important: Water is used as part of the curing process. Using a clean, water-dampened cloth after application helps TS-1 cure faster and achieve its intended finish.

Can I apply Armor-Dillo TS-1 in very cold temperatures?
For best results, apply TS-1 in a clean, dry, well-ventilated and covered area.
Extreme cold can slow the curing process, so we recommend avoiding application during very cold temperatures whenever possible.
After application, allow the treated surface to remain dry for 72 hours for optimal curing before exposing it to rain, snow, sleet, car washes, or other moisture.
Once properly cured, TS-1 helps protect exterior plastic trim from UV exposure and everyday weather conditions.
TS-1 is a maintenance product and can be reapplied as needed to keep exterior trim looking its best.
Can I reuse a TS-1 application pad?
No. Armor-Dillo TS-1 pre-saturated pads are designed for one-time use.
After completing the application, dispose of the used pad according to the instructions on the packaging.
How many TS-1 pads will I need for a Chevrolet Avalanche or similar-size vehicle?
The number of pads needed depends on the size of the vehicle, the amount of plastic trim, and the severity of the oxidation or UV damage.
For a Chevrolet Avalanche or similar-size vehicle, we generally recommend 2 to 6 TS-1 pads for a complete treatment.
Heavily oxidized or severely weathered trim may require additional product or more than one treatment to achieve the best possible appearance.
Can I use Armor-Dillo TS-1 on a vinyl soft top?
Armor-Dillo TS-1 has not been tested or approved for use on vinyl convertible or soft tops.
Although vinyl and automotive plastic trim are both polymer-based materials, they can react differently to cleaning and conditioning products.
For that reason, we do not recommend using TS-1 on vinyl soft tops unless you first test a very small, inconspicuous area and accept the risk of possible discoloration or surface changes.
For best results, use TS-1 only on the exterior plastic trim applications for which it was designed.
How can I make my TS-1 treatment last as long as possible?

For best performance:
